Intelligent Traffic Management
The BRAUMS Intelligent Outstation (BIO) has numerous applications, from street-lighting control and monitoring to Co-operative Intelligent Transportation Systems (C-ITS), it has applications in Vehicle-To-Infrastructure (V2X) and travel time calculation and monitoring systems. Powered by the new generation BIO-Core, the BIO improves the provision of traffic delay and incident information to the road users by collecting data for travel time evaluations. Road users can then be alerted via an application running on a phone or tablet, allowing decisions to be made to improve their journeys.
Product Versatility
With five (5) models of the BIO currently available, including a mains-powered and networked option that can be housed in a roadside cabinet (such as a traffic signal controller), to a solar-powered and cellular system which can be mounted just about anywhere, the BIO offers higher flexibility and visibility than ever before.
